Ceylon Beach Home was an absolute gem during our trip! The location is perfect, just steps away from the tranquil Pitiwella Beach, where I enjoyed falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the ocean. The staff, including the lovely owner, made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality. While the rooms are basic, they were comfy enough with a cute mosquito net - which is all you need after a day of soaking up that Caribbean sun! Plus, the communal area offers breathtaking beach views, perfect for connecting with fellow travelers over a cocktail. Don't miss out on Zumi's morning yoga classes; they're a great way to kickstart your day! The vibrant local markets nearby provided a taste of authentic Sri Lankan life, and I appreciated the emphasis on sustainable practices throughout the place.
